Online Payment Processor
You’re obviously going to want a way to get paid while you work remotely and an online payment processor is your first step to achieve that.
One of the most popular payment processors is Paypal®. It will allow you to accept payments online from other Paypal® users or via credit card. It’s easy to withdraw funds from your Paypal® account to your physical bank account once you’ve added/verified your bank account information for deposits.
Alternative Processors
Some alternate payment processors used are Skrill™ (Formerly MoneyBookers™) and Payza™ (Formerly AlertPay™).
Escrow
For large transactions that exceed 4 digits, you may want to look into using an escrow service for better protection. One of the most popular escrow services is Escrow.com™.
Commercial Payment Gateway
Note: If you have a physical business bank account somewhere using your assumed name certification, they usually also offer an online payment gateway you can implement into your website for credit card processing.
